Powering SMEs Development Programme
Introduction:
There are about 300,000 enterprises in Hong Kong, of which more than 90 per cent are SMEs who are vital to the economic development of Hong Kong. However, they were hard hit by the financial tsunami which put many SMEs into tests. Building on the successful launch of the joint programme in 2008, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited are proud to extend the "Powering SMEs Development Programme" into 2012. Through a series of events, the programme aims to expand the touch points for SMEs and equip them with the right gears to explore new market opportunities amid the current economic downturn.
