11 January 2013 – The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) has clinched top honours for its trade fair design at a major international design competition. 

The HKTDC won three awards, including the top platinum accolade, at the Trade Show Displays /Graphics category of the 42nd Creativity International Awards. It is the first time a platinum award in this category has been presented. 

The platinum award honoured the design of the Style Hong Kong Show in Beijing (3-7 October 2011), while the HKTDC also won Silver awards for HKTDC World Boutique, Hong Kong 2012 and HKTDC Hong Kong Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2012. 

Based in Louisville, Kentucky, the United States, the Creativity International Awards programme is one of the longest-running independent international advertising and graphic design competitions. 

This year’s contestants came from 34 countries, including members of the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents.
