New TDC Publication Targets Global Buyers
World Enterprise Officially Launches with April issue

April 2, 2007 - World Enterprise, a new global sourcing magazine, was officially launched today by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (TDC). The new monthly publication gives buyers around the world access to a dazzling range of merchandise from international suppliers, particularly manufacturers from the Chinese mainland and the Asian region.

Each issue of the magazine will include new product and supplier features, market news and insights, trade fair previews and reviews and special reports, all packaged in an easy-to-navigate format.

The April issue of World Enterprise looks at exhibitor highlights of three upcoming Hong Kong trade fairs - the Electronics Fair, the Houseware Fair, and the Gifts & Premium Fair - along with a preview of Hong Kong's breakthrough participation at the spring Canton Fair. January's Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair gets feature review treatment, with interviews from international buyers and spotlights on exhibitors. There's also a special focus on the Chinese mainland's new generation of consumers.

World Enterprise is the international edition of Hong Kong Enterprise. Published since 1967, the monthly sourcing magazine boasts an average global circulation of nearly 67,000 copies an issue. The two publications are bundled together and sent to buyers worldwide.

World Enterprise was created with the TDC's integrated marketplace concept in mind. This multimedia approach links TDC's product publications, its trade portal tdctrade.com, and its trade fairs, allowing international buyers to source products, services and business partners with speed, precision and maximum efficiency.

Each advertisement in World Enterprise includes a dedicated advertiser URL, which takes buyers to a web page on tdctrade.com. There, they will find a profile of the advertiser, along with product photos. If the advertiser is exhibiting in an upcoming TDC international trade fair, the relevant trade fair logo will also appear in the ad. Buyers can then access the fair website to get the company's booth number and contact details.

The TDC publishes 14 magazines featuring product information from major manufacturing industries. More than two million copies of the publications circulate annually in nearly 200 countries and regions.
