Matchmaking for business – HKTDC launches Premier Connect
The customised business matching service, Premier Connect - a customised business matching service - is dedicated to help small and medium enterprises, whatever their nationality, find business partners and facilitate trade between Hong Kong, China and the world.
Using a database of 100,000 Hong Kong companies, the service aims to find potential partners customised to a company's business needs within 4 weeks, using a wide range of trade contacts, including HK product suppliers, service providers, agents, distributors, licensees, franchisees to partners on technology transfer, joint venture or other strategic partners - for a minimal cost of US$300.
Premier Connect also offers to source products or services for US$100, and can provide contact details of recommended companies, additional market information and one-on-one appointments as an optional service.
Export director of Spanish company Desin Instruments, Mr Azzam Charmand, used Premier Connect and successfully reached an agreement with Hong Kong company Flying Eagle to distribute its products on the mainland.
"Premier Connect's service matched us to the appropriate business partner with indigenous market experience who was able to help us on the localisation and adaptation of our products. We also collected valuable information and practical tips for entering China," said Mr Charmand.
