The Hong Kong Trade Development Council, organiser of the annual FILMART and co-organiser of the Hong Kong - Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF), hosted a Cocktail Reception yesterday (14 February 2006) at Berlinale to congratulate Hong Kong filmmakers and past HAF projects being selected for the Competition Section at Berlinale, namely the cast and crew of Invisible Waves and Isabella.

This occasion was also a warm-up and invitation reminder to international film and entertainment professionals that Hong Kong's Entertainment Expo is just over a month away.

On 20 March 2006, the second Entertainment Expo, Hong Kong will officially kick-off, celebrating the start of Asia's multi-media extravaganza, where Hong Kong proudly presents eight entertainment-related events such as the 10th Anniversary of FILMART, the 30th Anniversary of the Hong Kong International Film Festival, and the 25th anniversary of the Hong Kong Film Awards under the one umbrella.
