Briefing on Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement
At a briefing on Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (Cepa)
between the mainland and Hong Kong held this morning (July 3), the Trade Development
Council's (TDC) Executive Director Michael C C Sze said the Council would unveil
next week its detailed analysis on Cepa's impact on Hong Kong's manufacturing
and servicing sectors, as well as TDC's promotion strategies in support of Hong
Kong SMEs to seize new business opportunities under Cepa.
The briefing co-organised by Trade Development Council and Commerce, Industry and Technology Bureau is the first of its kind being held after the signing of Cepa on Sunday.
Financial Secretary Antony Leung and Permanent Secretary for Commerce, Industry and Technology (Commerce and Industry) Denise C.Y. Yue briefed 1,500 attendants on major benefits of Cepa for Hong Kong companies.
